Vinyasa

60 minutes

From the Sanskrit “to place in a special way”, Vinyasa yoga aligns the body with the breath in a deliberate sequence of poses, or asanas, to achieve a continuous flow. Participants in a Vinyasa class will awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere. All levels welcome.

 

Restorative/Yin

60 minutes

Each pose is held for several minutes with, or without, the use of props (i.e. blocks, blankets, straps) requiring little to no muscular exertion. Without the distraction of constant movement and muscle engagement your connective tissues have the opportunity to stretch and release. Though you will receive guidance throughout class, this particular practice is centered on silence and stillness. Participants will leave feeling grounded, rested, and with a new cultivated awareness. All levels welcome.

 

Slow Flow Vinyasa

60 minutes

Slow Flow brings the element of time into practice. The pace is slower than a traditional Vinyasa class allowing poses to be refined and strengthened without feeling rushed to the next move, breath, or pose. Slow Flow allows a person to become familiar with his/her body, create a reflective pause, and create time to go inward. All levels welcome.

Flow

In this hour long class you will experience similar poses, or asanas, you are accustomed to seeing in a traditional yoga class, only taught in and/or with the assistance of the aerial hammock. Participants will be guided through a variety of grounded, floating, and inverted movements connecting mind, body, and soul. You will leave this class feeling challenged, strong, refreshed, and relaxed. All levels welcome.

 

Fit

60 mins

Pulling from multiple styles of group fitness, Fit incorporates movements frequently seen in Barre, Yoga, Pilates, and HIIT based formats. This high energy class is geared towards targeting your cardiovascular system while strengthening and toning your muscles. The aerial hammock is used in most, if not all, of the exercises performed in this butt-kicking class. All levels welcome.

 

Kids Aerial

60 mins

For children between the ages of 7-13.  Participants will be led through an Aerial fusion class, mixing elements from both Aerial Flow and Fit formats, also learning some beginner level aerial tricks!  Parents MUST sign a consent form in order for their child to participate.
